Hi Sharon, This is nicely done. I really like the way this looks!!
The points and lightness as it grows from center make this more dramatic!!
I have a question. Did you add the points of darkness on the tips or was it already cahnging & (two-) did you lighten this or in any way work on the saturation / color.?
I have a similar image that I have not touched post and it is much pinker, I always like it but this really makes this POP!!

About the shadow kiss - it was one of my first ventures into editing (seems I've stopped -?) and it's fun to play and learn - isn't it??

@FC: Hi! In answer to your questions, 1. NO, I didn't add the dark tips, it was like that...however...2. YES I absolutely changed the hue and saturation on this as well as levels and curves, contrast, you name it I probably did it. It was quite a while ago so I can't exactly remember all the steps. I have another shot of the same type of flower, but it is very purplely pink in color. This one was paler.
